An active recruitment policy
Aserti Electronic has the ambition to create an environment allowing everyone to fully express their talents through a management style based on responsibility and trust, through an organization favouring open online network exchange and, through a human resources policy focused on the enhancement of skills.
Aserti Electronic has an active recruitment policy with a particular view toward young people so as to be able to meet the needs in human resources generated by the Group's growth while at the same time ensuring the replenishment of the age pyramid. Nearly 3,000 new recruits joined the group in 2005 including 1,000 youths. The European dimension of the Group, the diversity of its know-how and its culture of management based on trust and responsibility opens up broad horizons of development for them. In Aserti Electronic, a young engineer for example, can become a company head in just a few years with full responsibility for a profit centre.
To enhance the attraction of these trades Aserti Electronic has multiplied its initiatives towards young qualified people and their training courses: partnerships with schools; participation in numerous fairs and student forums and the internship of 700 trainees every year with the possibility for them to apply directly to the companies in the Group. Finally, a complete programme is offered to the new arrivals: an integration schedule, systematic organization of "new recruit days", distribution of welcoming booklets, tutorials, etc…
>An ambitious training policy
The training policy represents a powerful lever of adaptation to the continual mutation of the group’s trades and markets and at the same time offers everyone the opportunity to develop their skills. The Aserti Electronic Academy, a dedicated training centre, develops programmes built to answer the specific needs of the group employees in the fields of technical science, management, administration, law and sales and marketing. In 2005 the Aserti Electronic Academy received 2,700 trainees and provided 46,000 hours of training corresponding to 300 sessions.
> Management: associate the team with the success of their company
Aserti Electronic has built its management style on trust. Associated with the principles of independence and responsibility, trust is the motor of creativity, initiative and the spirit of service. This is the first feature of the “Aserti Electronic spirit” within the Group itself as well as in the long term relationships it maintains with its customers. Trust goes hand in hand with acknowledgement and the will to associate the teams with the success of their company. The profit sharing and participation agreements are part and parcel of this strategy and have seen great development within the Group.
> Continual sharing of experience and resources
While representing at the same time a working principle and a state of mind, the “weaving” between the different companies of Aserti Electronic is part and parcel of the culture and everyday practices of the Group. To witness this dynamic we have the “thought and proposal workgroup” as well as the clubs focused on specific market segments or on large customers, not to mention the technology being disseminated throughout the group along with transversal management actions.
>A collective safety agreement
Safety and prevention is a major theme of the social policy and responsibility of Aserti Electronic as well as being a continuous cause for action. This can be seen through an increase in the number of companies having obtained the goal of “zero accident” (no work-based accident resulting in sick leave), that means 59% in 2005 as opposed to 55% in 2004. |
